This book is based on the authors doctoral thesis, Responses in Islamic Jurisprudence to Developments in Medical Science. It examines some of the most burning issues of the last four decades of the twentieth century. He examines in depth a wide range of legal and moral aspects of responsibility and medical liability within the context of the deen of Islam, with particular reference to      :euthanasia, prevention and termination of pregnancy, reproduction and cloning, and transplantation.
